Meetings

 

The Boulder Junction Lions are built on community volunteerism and sacrifice. We have contributed to our community and state and the world since 1972. Our current membership consists of 61 men and women. In the past year we have donated over $30,000 to over 30 local, state, national, and international organizations.

Our mission statement is to create and foster a spirit of understanding among all people for humanitarian needs by providing voluntary services through community involvement and international cooperation.

Our Primary Fundraisers are:  

MARCH: Funding The Future of our Kids-Annual Spaghetti Dinner.

MAY: (Memorial Day W/E)  Pork Steak and Chicken Dinner. 

JUNE-AUGUST: Tuesdays Flea Market. (Contact John Ader at  ader@hughes.net for space availability and prices.)

JULY:  Lions Cash Raffle.

AUGUST: (Aug. 8) Musky Days Food & Beverage Tent. (Aug. 21) Lions thank-you breakfast for the BJ Community

SEPTEMBER:  BJ/Maitowish Waters Golf Outing

NOVEMBER/DECEMBER: Monthly (Calendar) Cash Raffle.

We Participate in the following Activities:

Parking for July 4th Fireworks and October Colorama, Blood Donation Drives in June and December, North Lakeland Elementary 1st grade Reading Buddies Program, Christmas Party for Boulder Junction children.
