Picnic Tables delivered to
Highland Park Shelter

The Crookston Noonday Lions Club completed and delivered 13 picnic tables to the Lions Shelter at Highland Park. The effort began last Fall with the donation of the steel legs for the tables by Bob Cameron. The Lions recycled the picnic table legs, which had served Camp Shalom on Maple Lake for many decades, preparing, painting and assembling the old legs with new wood. A team of Lions members, including Tim Motherway, Dale Knotek, Charles Casey, Wayne Swanson, Fred Parnow and Dan Wilson delivered the new tables to the shelter. Also appearing is Dan Wilson of the Crookston Lions.
