As a Chapter of the Lions International Organization, The Deer Park Lions Club was chartered in 1974. In its history, the club has worked diligently to serve the Gamber-Smallwood area of Carroll County. More than $450,000 has been given back to our community through our various service programs. We loan hospital equipment, collect used eyeglasses and hearing aids for recycling in third-world countries, participate in the Carroll County Rec & Parks "Helping Hands" Park cleanup program, and volunteer weekly at the Carroll Food Sunday food bank. We assist individuals in need of hearing aids and eyeglasses. Our Lions have given thousands of man-hours in service to our neighbors.
