Paul was our guest speaker at the Aug 3, 2010 meeting. World wide Lions have raised more than $343 million dollars for sight initiatives. Childhood Blindness, Lions Eye Health, SightFirst China Action, Sight For Kids, River Blindness and Trachoma are some of the programs the Lions have developed to aid in preventable blindness. Paul also talked about West Virginia Lions Sight Conversation Foundations. The Foundation was established in 1959 to provide quality vision care to every resident of this state and region. Also, doing research to find causes and cures for blinding eye disease.
