Can become a member of Washington Lions Club.
The Washington Lions Club is composed of men and women who live or work in the Washington Area. These LIONS were all invited to join our Club because a fellow Lion member thought that they would be an asset to the Washington Lions Club thru their service to the community.
The Washington Lions Club currently has over 170 members actively practicing the Club's motto: "WE SERVE". We celebrated our 70th Club anniversary last year. The Club is the largest Club in our District 26M2 and one of the largest Lions Clubs in the State of Missiouri.
Our Club was chartered on August 28, 1939. The First Club president was Dr. R. F. Zoeller with 36 years of service. Another charter member was John H. Feltmann, who now has children, grandchildren and great grandchildren as members in the Club.
Lions are an international network of 1.3 million men and women in 205 countries and geographic areas who work together to answer the needs that challenge communities around the world.
