A group of 25 men from various walks of the society but who believed in the slogan 'We Serve' gathered to form Lions Club Adampur Doaba, which came into existence on 13 January,1995.In a colorful function the members received the charter from Lion A.S. Madan D.G.321-D through Lions Club Jalandlar East. Since then the club has not looked back. Presidents over the years have tried their best to execute the various service projects required for down trodden section of the society. Our main thrust had been to imprint the impact of our goodwill in the minds of the people. Projects under taken by the Club  which have earned the appreciation of the Public are under:

• Handicapped welfare
• sewing school
• Ambulance
• Eye operation camp
• construction of an Eye Hospital
