2020 Lumberjack Breakfast

Cancelled due to COVID-19 Safety

Timber Linn Park, Albany OR

The Board of Directors of the East Albany Lions Club has made the decision to cancel the All You Can East Lumberjack breakfast for 2020.  This was a difficult decision and the first time in 63 years the breakfast has not been held.

The Lions Club is part of an international club whose sole purpose is to serve its communities.  The East Albany Lions Club has a focus of providing sight and hearing services to members of the local community.  The club provides visions screenings to all elementary students in the Albany Public Schools and in several other school districts when requested.  In addition to sight and hearing the club provided over $40,000 to local non-profit agencies in Albany, most of whom have an emphasis in providing services to children.

In addition to the Pancake Breakfast held every July 4th weekend, the club also hosts its annual gun show in January each year.  These two fundraising activities provide the funding for donations to the community.

In addition to these activities the Lions Club also provides assistance to the Salvation Army (ringing bells for kettle donations), Storybook Land, Highway 20 cleanup and other activities that come up throughout the year.

If you are interested in supporting the East Albany Lions Club this year, donations can be made to the East Albany Lions Club and sent to PO Box 123, Albany, Oregon, 97321.

If you believe you would be interested in becoming a member, please feel free to contact Bill Scheler, membership chair at 541-979-7608 or schcorp@comcast.net.

We thank all of the members of our local communities for your ongoing support of the East Albany Lions Club.

Have a wonderful summer, please use social distancing along with masks and Stay Safe and Healthy!
