January brought the new year and our first dinner meeting of 2012. Many Lions pitched in to set up for a joint meeting along with a zone meeting.

Middleton, our sponsoring club, brought their banner for a joint meeting.

Kitchen duties were handled by Lions Marianne, Holger and Life Member Bill. Lion Holger's menu included Swedish meatball over pasta with mixed vegetables.

Part of the head table -host K/L Donna Lee, ZC Wayne, K/L Brian, Middleton, Sect. Dave, M'ton and K/L Diane, Deep Brook/Waldec. Not seen are K/L Karl, Lawrencetown and Sect. LM Bill, Annapolis.

With our gong in Eastern Passage, we improvized with some dainty special "gongs". How sweet the sound!

Tailtwister Lion Paul was especially busy entertaining with jokes, fines and a fund raising raffle for a painting by a local artist. Thanks, Lion Paul.

After dinner, K/L Brian led his club through their business.

Following the Annapolis business meeting, the 43 Lions present were ready for the zone meeting under Z.C. Wayne Sears leadership.

Finally came clean - up. We welcomed Lion Perry back from his leave of absence and he went straight to his beloved dishwasher. Welcome back Lion Perry. We missed you.

We were all relieved when the dishes were done. Thanks to all the Lions who helped make the night a success.
