Welcome to the Apple Valley Lions Club .

Our Mission Statement :

Our mission is to actively serve the Apple Valley community and beyond, to improve the quality of life through the balance of project donations and by being true to our Lions motto, " We Serve."

About us

Our club was chartered in August of 1987. Currently we have 21 members on our roster, including 3 women. We are actively seeking new members to help serve our Apple Valley community.

Since our club is not involved in charitable gambling, we are holding several fund-raisers during the year to secure the money needed to serve our community.

We participate in several service activities year round. One of them is supporting the community meal at Grace Lutheran Church, the other is at least two Food Drives for our local Community Action Council Food Shelf, now called 360 Communities.

Throughout the year we collect used eye glasses and hearing aids for recycling at 16 different locations . As a matter of fact, we turned in 2,350 pairs of glasses and 23 hearing aids just in 2011.

Our membership fees are reasonable at $ 60 per year which includes a monthly magazine from Lions Clubs International.
