Lions Friendship Arch
A Lions Arch was dedicated October 17th, 2009 at the Lions Community Park on McFadden Road.
Lion Herb Wilson, a past President and past Zone Chair when he was a memer of the Apsley Lions Club and because of his generours financial donation the Friendship Arch was purchased. The plaque at its base reads "Donated by Lion Herb Wilson in memory of his late wife, June, in January 2009". Lion Herb is currently a member of the Chemung Lake Lions club.
The Arch shows the Lions Club International emblem at the top and underneath a symbol of a handshake, a gesture of friendship.
Lions Clubs International's motto is "We Serve".
