Meetings

Aurora Lions Club, which was chartered in 1941, has 40 members of diverse backgrounds and occupations in the community.  The members range in age from 20 to 99, with eleven of them being women.  All of the members have one thing in common and that is the desire to serve their neighbors in the community, the state, and the entire world.  WE SERVE!!

Lions Club International was organized in 1917 and encompasses 45,000 clubs from 205 nations around the world.  The global membership stands at 1.3 million.  Lions Club International Foundation has earned a number one ranking on the Non-Government Organizations Report which assesses volunteer organizations.

 Membership is by invitation.  Interested persons may contact the club at auroranelions@yahoo.com to express your interest.  Attend a meeting to learn more about the club and their service projects.  Ask the President or Membership Chairman for a sponsor.  The dues for a regular member are $21 per quarter.  A one time initiation fee of $25 is also charged.  Family memberships, student and affiliate memberships are also available.
