This SightFirst Cataract Mission of the Baguio Everlasting Lions Club has indeed colored the world for many, improving not only the patients' sight, but moreover, by boosting their self-esteem, strengthening family bonds and improving quality of lives.

To this date of accessible cataract surgery in the cities, several areas in the northern Philippines remain unserved and underserved, and many patients are still blinded by bilateral cataracts due to financial constraints on the cost of surgery.
