Blacksburg Host Lions Club

Purpose: To support local Sight Conservation Projects and the training of an assist dog through the Leader Dogs for the Blind Program

Sponsors: BLACKSBURG HOST LIONS CLUBS

in association with the Delta Gamma Sorority of Virginia Tech

with support from the Student Chapter of the American Animal Hospital Association

When: September 10, 2011. Walks start any time after 9 AM.; finish before noon.
Where: Virginia Tech Campus, parking lot at Smithfield Rd and Duck Pond Dr.
Distance: 1 mile up to 3 miles
Participants: Anyone with, or without, a dog partner. Each walker should solicit sponsors. Sponsorship forms available on this website (see below).
Rules: Dogs on leash at all times. Current Rabies vaccination required. Sponsorship money to be turned in before prizes awarded.
