WARM CLOTHES FOR THE CHILDREN OF CHRISTCHURCH

Our newest member Andrea initiated the appeal for warm clothes for the children at schools in the hardest quake hit area of Christchuch. As an ex teacher from the area Andrea used her network of contacts to find out what was needed and linked schools in our area with those in Christchurch in need. Then when others heard about the project Andrea's House was inundated with donations from businesses and individuals. Then came the mammoth task of sorting and allocating to each school their requirements.

All bagged up and ready for Christchurch, after much sorting the bags of warm clothes, blankets and shoes are seen here in the freight forwarding shed. But before that stage came the sorting as below
