BCIS Food Bank

The Boardman Intermediate Food Bank is continuing to fulfill a vital need for our students. These are the most needed items: Personal Items: deodorant, shampoo, body wash, toilet paper Food: pop tarts; granola bars; cereal; instant oatmeal (single serv.); peanut butter; jelly (grape); crackers (ritz or saltines); canned pasta meals; microwavable meals; individual cups of pudding, fruit & jello; protein in cans - chicken, spam, ready made pasta sauce that contains meat; juice boxes, cans of juice, unrefrigerated chocolate milk (in boxes)

College Scholarships

The Boardman Lions Club will award two $1000.00 scholarships to two graduating seniors who demonstrate the characteristics  of Lionism: service to others, leadership, good citizenship and high ethical standards.  Applicants must meet the following requirements: 
• Be a resident of Boardman Township (any local high school which enrolls Boardman residents is eligible) 
• Prove a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 
• Be enrolled full-time in a 4-year college program pursuing a bachelor’s degree 
• Demonstrate leadership 
• Demonstrate Community Service 
• Include a transcript, two letters of recommendation and an essay

Coats for Kids

Boardman Lions provides new winter coats for deserving children in Boardman each October during a night out at Target.  See our Coats for Kids page.  This page is not active in 2020.
