President Lion Dennis Hunt passing the gavel to incoming President Lion Murray Tallant.  A fun time was had by all at the windup event for the Club which was hosted by Marguerite and Lion Dave Hughes at their residence.

Brandon Wheat City Lions have proudly served the Brandon community for over 35 years!

Our members are very different in many ways, but we share a core belief - our community is what we make it.  That's because we help where help is needed.  In short, We Serve.

Here are some of the things our club has done recently:

  • Provide financial support to the Journey for Sight in support of the Lions Eye Bank
  • Provide financial support to Special Olympics local projects
  • Collect, count and sort used eyeglasses and hearing aids on a regular basis
  • Held Halloween party on the Children's Ward at BRHC
  • Provided financial support to the Brandon Lions Club memorial park
  • Donated compost to the Betty Gibson School community garden
  • Provided new toys and DVDs to the Children's Ward at BRHC

If you (or your friends or family members) would like to become involved in an upcoming project, or join our Lions Club, you can contact us in one of these two ways:

  1. Email our Club Secretary (hughesd@wcg.wave.ca) and request more information
  2. Attend one of our bi-monthly meetings to learn more about our group
