Meetings

The Bridgeview Lions Club is a group of men, women and families that share a common bond of making their community a better place. Since being chartered in 1975, the Bridgeview Lions have been making an impact on people's lives. We live up to our motto of "We Serve" through our projects:

  • Food collections to benefit the Bridgeview Community
  • Feed the families at the Ronald McDonald House at Hope Children's Hospital
  • Contributed to Argo Community High School’s Mamie Till-Mobley Scholarship Fund
  • Participates annually in District 109 Back to School Bash
  • Donated to the Bridgeview Library, tape recorders & Braille books, a large print typewriter and Braille Typewriter
  • Donates to District 109’s Jean Dearting Memorial Scholarship Fund
  • Hosts a community Trunk-or-Treat event that attracts over 200 adults and children
  • Recognizes people in the Community that make a difference, a District 109 and an Argo Community High School Educator of the Year, a Business of the Year and a Veteran of the Year
  • Supplies eye exams and eyeglasses to residents in need
  • Provided 5 Leader dogs to Bridgeview residents
  • Sent goody boxes to overseas troops
  • Supplied Bullet Proof vests for the Bridgeview Police
  • Sent children to Camp Quality, a camp for children with cancer
  • Sent hearing or sight impaired children to Summer Camp
  • Honored the Boy Scouts on their 100th Anniversary

The Bridgeview Lions are dedicated to building a bigger, brighter future for the Bridgeview community and the residents.
