District Governors,
The Brockport Lions Club of 20E-1 takes great pride in nominating Zone Chairperson Greg Lund for the position of First Vice District Governor.
Lions Greg has been an active member of the Brockport Lions Club since 1990. He has served the club valiantly as Secretary, Vice President, and President during his tenure. The past three years Lion Greg has served as the Zone Chair. A brief list of awards bestowed upon Lion Greg over the last 8 years includes: 2000-2001 Cabinet Secretary, 2001 President’s 100% award, 2001 International President delegate, 2001 Robert Uplinger Award, 2001 100% attendance award, 2002 Melvin Jones fellowship, 2007 Membership Key Award, and 2008 Award of Appreciation.
Lion Greg has been treasurer and a founding member (1995) of the non profit Brockport Integrated Service clubs. Lion Greg received the Brockport Rotary Club’s Citizen of the year award in 2005 and was named a Paul harris fellow by the Brockport rotary in 2004. Lion Greg was active in Brockport boy scout troop 111 as treasurer and assistant scout master during the 1980’s.
Lion Greg is married, spouse Darlene of 39 years, and has two children, daughter Jeanette (35) and son Jeff (33). Jeff is an air force tech sgt. and has been in the airforce for 15 years. Jeff is currently Stationed at Elmendorf afb in anchorage Alaska.
Lion Greg retired from Eastman Kodak after 36 1/2 years in 2005 and currently works part time for enterprise rent a car.
Lion Greg is an avid bowler and enjoys golfing and gardening.
Lion Greg exemplifies what being a Lion is all about. He is dedicated above dedication, committed above commitment, and truly lives our motto, “We Serve.”
