The Melvin Jones Fellowship Program was established in 1973 in honor of Melvin Jones, the founder of Lions Clubs International (LCI).  Melvin Jones Fellowships (MJF) are given to individuals in recognition of unrestricted donations of $1000 to Lions Club International Foundation (LCIF).  This allows the Foundation to perform such miracles as preserving sight, combating disability, promoting health and providing disaster relief.  New MJF receive an MJF pin, commemorative plaque and a letter from the LCIF Chairman.  An additional donation of $1000 moves you to the next level of recogition and giving by joining the Progressive Melvin Jones Fellowship Program. Word-of-mouth Lion Ambassador:

Not sure what to say when asked, "what do Lions do"?

1. Lions are men and women dedicated to serving those in need, whether in their own community or around the world.

2. Our global mission of sight preservation makes us unique among service organizations.

3. Lions provide many leadership development opportunities for members.

Recruit spouses and family members to join our club.  Ask new businesses and new members of our community to become Lions.
