A DAY TO REMEMBER

Saturday, May 12th was a day to remember for the Lions of Mid-Bedford Heights, the Honorees, their families and the many supporters who came out to show their support.

We celebrated our 21st Anniversary, “Pre-Mother’s Celebration – A Fantasy in Pink and White” at Ridgewood’s Fleur De Lis with over 300 people in attendance.

We honored the members of our community who’s dedicated and tireless efforts were recognized by family and friends.

Special thanks to all those honorees who agreed to participate in this most important fundraiser.  We consider you a partner in our goal of service and support to those many community, state and international charities and organizations who are in need.

Thanks to those who supported this event through the purchase of tickets, journal ads, raffles and other donations.  Please support the businesses that advertized in our souvenir journal.

Thanks to Lion Denise Lloyd and Lion Timothy Moses, who chaired the event.  Thanks to the committees for their hard work in pulling this event together.

We were happy to present a ‘”tree” to everyone who attended.  Lions International President, Wing-Kun Tam’s campaign project is to plant a million trees. As of this date, over seven million trees have been planted around the world.  Support the Lions and make for a better environment by planting your tree.

Instructions for the planting and care of the tree are on the “CALENDER” page on this website.

We hope everyone had a great time.  See you again next year!

Yours in Lionism,

Jannie Hudson

President
