Year 2013 was another great year for Burlingame. It is not a surprise as great years have been repeated for the last 84 years. Despite a few bumps in the road, the club coasted through the year and all of its events. Here is a review of the events and who was key to its success. Many of the members were key in multiple events and may not have been listed again.

The year started with one of our signature events Cars in the Park.

August brought us Backpackpalooza, Burlingame Recreation family campout, Burlingame Best Buddies Day and the fire Fighter’s chili cook off.

October we had White Cane Days and Bingo.

November we helped at one of our favorite locations Call Primrose.

December we hosted our 37th annual Burlingame Lions Club High School Basketball Tournament.

January, 2014 we hosted the Peninsula Council of Lions.

February, 2014 was a very busy month we assisted the BASO Lions with their tailgate party, Hosted the 5th annual spelling bee, student speaker contest

March, 2014 was about green beer and corned beef and Opening day pancakes with the San Mateo Little League.

May, 2014 took part in convention in Sacramento
