The Cheshire Lions Club holds a variety of Fund-raising and Community events throughout the Lions Year. These usually include our Fall Peace Poster Contest, Fall/Winter Wine Taste Event, Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Flower Sale, Annual Dinner Dance for the Blind @ Aqua-Turf, Sight-Saver Day Collections, and a Community Blood Drive with the Red Cross and the popular annual Spring Half-Marathon & 5K Road Race produced in conjunction other charitable groups in Cheshire.such as Abilities Without Boundaries and Best Buddies. This year, the Club is also proud to hold its second "Treats For Troops" event on the First Congregational Church Green on October 29, 2016, collecting provisions and clothes to send to Connecticut troops serving overseas.

Each Fall the club runs Sight Saver Day at Stop & Shop grocery store (this year, October 2, 2016   to solicite from citizens money donations as well as collecting used eyeglasses and hearing aids to have them refurbished and redistributed.
