The President's Message
The First lady and President for 2011/12 - Sue and Lion Malcolm Burlow
We are a group of men and women who want to help people and groups in our local community as well as people who live in poverty or who suffer disaster anywhere in the world.
We hold a number of fundraising events throughout the year to help us to do this and in the coming year we aim to raise more than £20,000. By raising this money and by helping others gives us all a great deal of personal satisfaction. We are also able offer our services to groups; one example is The PHAB Club of Chippenham and another is that we deliver Christmas meals on the 25th December to those who are frail and on their own on this special day. However, we are probably best known for our Carol Float, which tours the streets of Corsham & Chippenham during the month of December and we look forward to seeing you all again this year.
Very importantly, we try to have a lot of fun at the same time.
My chosen local charities to support this year are Transport for the Disabled and St Nicholas School for Special Needs, both in Chippenham and also Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
