Clevedon Lions Club is a member of Lions International, a worldwide charitable organisation established in 1917. There are 46,000 Lions Clubs in 200+ countries with 1.4m members

Clevedon Lions have provided support to many individuals, clubs and charities within North Somerset for almost 50 years as well as assisting with some international Lions Club  projects in support of natural disasters and aid programmes for clean water and restoring eyesight.
We raise funds by organising many events including the Bacon Butty & Tea stall at Clevedon Farmers Market every 4th Saturday and the ever popular Santa Float at Christmas.
Our recent involvement with installing a Defibrillator and new bench by the seafront Bandstand shows Lions commitment to improving the facilities available to local communities.
Our events are well supported by local residents and the media, to whom we are extremely grateful.
Every penny raised goes to our good causes. All administrative costs of the Club are paid by Club members.
Supporting local people and organisations is a fundamental part of the Clubs aim and objective – we support local partially sighted people with a get together at the Hawthorns every month and have made donations to several local organisations over the years when they have needed help with a project or scheme - including the Barn Youth Centre, Bristol Children’s Hospital plus Clevedon Rugby Club and many, many others.
CLEVEDON LIONS is always looking for new members who are prepared to support our activities. We meet monthly - 3rd Monday at the Walton Park Hotel – 7.30 pm.
We organise social events for Club members & friends which can involve a get together with members of other local Lions Clubs. We also have a Friends of Lions group, who help out when extra manpower is needed for our larger events.
Interested in joining – please email  for more information – we'll be delighted to hear from you
