Lions Club Of Cochin ( Pride )
This club was chartered on the 20th of June 2008.There were 25 members at the biginning.The principal officers were
Charter President : Lion S.K.Gopalakrishnan
Charter Secretary : Lion Adv. P.R.Jayakrishnan
Charter Treasurer : Lion Adv. K.K.Parameswaran and
MCC : Lion Stanly Pathyala.
The charter ceremony was a memmorable one and was held at Orion Sargam Resort at Kumbalam.
A number of Lion lumineries and other digniteries were present .The then District Governor was Ln.Prof. Monamma Kokkad who was on her official visit of the club,on that day.IPDG Ln.K Ramachanran Nair handed over the charter to president Ln.S.K.Gopalakrishnan.Installation of office bearers was held by Vice Distt. Governer Ln. CA Roy Varghese.PDG Ln.Das Mankidy inagutated new projects.Among the felicitators were Kumbalam Grama panchayath President Sri C.K.Padmanabhan and Maradu Grama panchayath President Sri K.A.Devassy.
