The proposed Dayton Valley Dog Park is a primary program of the Lions Club. Our goal is to assist the Dog Park program in implementing a safe and attractive area for residents to take their pets. The following information pertains to the Dayton Dog Park Organization.
Who Are We?
We are a group of active community residents in Dayton promoting a healthy and safe environment for our pets. We are currently generating funds to build a much needed fenced off-leash dog park for all dogs and owners in Lyon County. We have great community support and have generated over 1600 signatures from dog lovers supporting our cause. In May, 2009, the Lyon County Commissioners granted 2.6 acres of park land for the development of the Dayton Valley Dog Park.

Our Purpose
The purpose of the Dayton Valley Dog Park is to develop and maintain a fully fenced off-leash dog park for the benefit of the pubic in Lyon County, Nevada where dog owners can exercise their dogs in a safe contained environment and allow citizens to socialize with other like minded citizens
