Denton Lions Club
Denton, Maryland

September 26, 2017 marked the 75th year of strong community service for the Denton Lions Club. On that date in 1946, our sponsor, the Salisbury Lions Club, stood witness as a long tradition of helping those with unattended needs began.

Over those years, the Club has contributed time, energy and money to projects on the national and state levels, but has focused its most deliberate attention to meeting needs, especially those related to sight and hearing issues, at our local level.

During our 75 year history, Denton Lions have provided significant leadership at the next level of Lionism. In just the last 25 years, District 22-B has been led by Denton Lions as Cabinet Secretaries, Zone Chairmen, Bulletin Editors, Cabinet Treasurers, L.C.I.F Coordinators, Vice District Governor, Committee Chairmen, Deputy District Governor and District Governor.

Our Club has four Melvin Jones Fellows and three Life Members.
