LIONS CLUB MEMBERS PROVIDE SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY

Denver Colorado --  The Denver Park Hill Lions Club will be serving the community by participating in a Global Service Campaign for Earth Day Awareness - - “Protecting Our Environment” -- April 16th, 2011 from 11a.m.-2:00 p.m. This volunteer activity will occur in Park Hill near 35th Avenue & Ash St. Completion of the Lions club service project will be a benefit to the community because it benefits local clubs and organizations.

According to the project coordinator of the Denver Park Hill Lions Club, “Money raised on April 16th will allow Lions to meet pressing needs in our community including saving the landfill from receiving purposeful used medical equipment.  Anyone who contributes is truly helping Lions make a difference in our community.”

The Denver Park Hill Lions Club has 13 members and meets on the first and third Saturdays of the month at 8:00 am at 4141 E. 35th Avenue (Park Hill Golf Course). Lions Clubs are a group of men and women who identify needs within the community and work together to fulfill those needs.
