We organised CME on PHACOEMULSIFICATION with Live Surgery on 4th August at new Lion Radheshyam Agarwalla Auditorium (second floor) of our Eye Hospital. District Governor Lion D. C. Roy, Dr. Divyesh P Shah, Tecnical Advisor, SightFirst, MD322, Dr. R. C. Paul, Dr. B Bhattacharyya, Kolkatta, Chairman and Doctors from all the Lions Eye Hospital of our District 322D and 62 Ophthalmologists from different part of N.E. were present to grace the occassion.

Sri Paban Singh Ghatowar, Hon'ble Minister for DONeR and Parlimentry Affairs, Govt. of India, inaugurated newly constructed ward " CHAMPALAL JAIN WING". After inauguration of the wing we increase Bed capacity from 15 to 21 in our Hospital.

BSNL has provided Special Toll Free Service 1053 for Eye Donation to our Eye Hospital. Honb'le Minister Sri Prithivi Majhi, Minister of Revenue and labour, Govt. of Assam inaugurated this service.
