DUES:  Lions dues are collected for the calendar year.  Dues must be paid in advance as we are assessed by Lions Clubs International (LCI) and District 5M11, based on the number of members we have on the rolls as of December 31st.   Please pay your dues by December 31st

CHRISTMAS LIGHT JUDGING WILL BE DEC. 15th @ 5pm.  We will meet at the community center.  Ideally, we’d like five teams of judges to judge the five neighborhoods.  The Grand Prize home will be picked from the neighborhood winners.  With multiple teams, this shouldn’t take more than an hour or two.  This has been a Dilworth Lions tradition for many years and is good PR for our club.  Please come early to our meeting on December 15th and help judge.  Contact Lion Mark Asleson for further info:   masleson@gmail.com

LIONS CHRISTMAS PARTY will be held on December 15th after Christmas Lights have been judged and our monthly meeting.  We will have food, beverages and drawings.  If you haven’t been to a meeting for a while, this will be a good time to drop in.

INVITE A MEMBER YOU HAVEN’T SEEN FOR A WHILE TO THE MEETING & PARTY !

LEADER DOG DEMONSTRATION will be held on the evening of Feb. 2nd at the community center. 

“KEEPER OF THE ALE” position will be filled by Lion Corby Nelson with help from Lions Rick & Bill

Mid-Winter Convention “early bird” deadline is Dec. 15th.  You save $15 on the hospitality book.  The club will reimburse you (less $10) after attendance.  The event is in Grand Forks this year.  Go to http://www.lions5m11.org/   for forms, schedule & information. We will be discussing any further reimbursement at the meeting on Thursday.  This is a good place to meet and learn about LIONS. 

MIXED STAG is February 18th.  Tickets will be available at the meeting from Lion Bill Bergquist.

EQUIPMENT AND GARAGE DOOR OPENER SIGN-OUT:  Please remember to fill out the form when taking and returning items from the garage.  Let the president know if you want to use something.

OUR SYMPATHY to Lion Ken Wirtz for the recent passing of his mother.  We are also saddened to hear of the passing of PDG Doris Fertig, who was a friend of the Dilworth Lions.

DILWORTH LIONS 50th ANNIVERSARY is October 22, 2012 (10 months).  A committee headed by Lion Mike Griffin and Lion Nathan Herbrandson has been formed.  Contact them to help.
