"Lions are changing the world one community at a time by addressing the needs at home and around the globe."  (Quote By LCI:  Lions Club International)

Founded in 1917, we are best known for fighting blindness, we also volunteer to assist our communities by caring for the environment, feeding the hungry and aiding seniors and disabled citizens. Our purpose is to take an active interest in the civic, cultural, social and moral welfare of our communities and join with other service-minded individuals and organizations in an effort to serve in times of need

Lions clubs are neither religious, political nor organized for business purposes. The clubs exist so that members may pool their ideas, skills, talents and resources for the betterment of the community.

The Eagle-Glenmoore Lions Club is part of District 14P (Zone 4a) and operates in Chester County Pennsylvania's Upper Uwchlan Township. We welcome all persons to attend our meetings and to join our membership.

Lions awarding grants. Since it's founding in 1968, the Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) has awarded more than US$1billion and more than 13,0 00 grants to support Lions humanitarian projects around the world. LCIF was also ranked the number one nongovernmental organization in a 2007 study by The Financial Times.  All of the money we raise or donations we receive goes to the cause or charity.

Lions helping during disasters. Together, our Foundation and Lions are helping communities following natural disasters by providing for immediate needs such as food, water, clothing and medical supplies – and aiding in long-term reconstruction.

Our motto is "We Serve." Lions are part of a global service network, doing whatever is necessary to help our local communities.

Join us in helping to make our community and the world a better place to live.
