RESERVE SUNDAY 11 SEP 2016 FOR FAMILY FUN DAY

Plan to attend a unique event on Sunday 12 SEP 2016 at East Granby's Granbrook Park on Granbrook Park Road (Off CT Rt. 189, also called Hartford Avenue, on the south side of the road between R&N Tire and Valley Fish Market).

Our third annual Rubber Duck Derby, featuring better ducks than last year, and Raffle, featuring more prizes than last year, will be sponsored by the East Granby LIONS Charities, Inc.  There will also be activities sponsored by other groups throughout the day between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM.  There will be a clown, face painting, live music by one or more local groups, other fun activities; and the LIONS food trailer will be on site and active.  The Good Humor man or other ice cream vendors will also probably be there.

Main Prizes listed below will be awarded to the sponsors of the first four ducks to reach the finish line and other prizes will be awarded in order of finish as donations are received for same by local vendors. 

                                       (Derby will last about 7 minutes, start to finish).

Official Duck Splashdown is schedueld for 1:30 PM at the old R/R Bridge

Price is $5.00 per duck entered (Ticket Number matches your Duck Number when you buy the ticket to adopt a rubber duck for the derby.)  The ticket number is printed on the bottom of your chosen duck.
 
We will have a table to sell tickets at the even up to on ehalf hour prior to splash down.  In addition, until the day of the event, tickets are from any member of East Granby LIONS or by calling Myra at 860-658-0623 or Mark or Janet at 860-658-6988 up until 9:00 AM on the day of the Derby.
 
Winner need not be present for prize awarding.  QuackPack's of 5 tickets for $25.00 available.
