The Elizabethtown Lions Club located just 45 miles south of Louisville, KY. We were chartered on September 25, 1941. Currently we have 94 active members and are looking for a few more able bodies. Our Club funds projects for the betterment of our community, such as:

EYESIGHT CONSERVATION

  • Eye Exams and Glasses, along with Eye Screenings, and Eyeglass Collection Boxes
  • Campaign Sight First II, Kid Sight, Lions Camp for the Blind, and High Tech Equipment
  • Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation and Lions Patrons Fund for Eye Surgeries

YOUTH PROGRAMS

  • Student of the Month for EHS, CHHS, & JHHS;  Project Graduation for EHS, CHHS & JHHS; along with Academic Scholarships for ECTC, EHS, CHHS, and JHHS students
  • Elizabethtown Independent Schools Lions Quest Program
  • E'town Youth Baseball, Football, and Soccer
  • Big Brother/Big Sisters, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and Hardin County 4-H
  • Lions Camp Crescendo, and KY Sheriff's Ranch
  • Kids Voting

COMMUNITY PROGRAMS

  • Feeding America-Kentucky's Heartland, Community Health Clinic, and the Dental Programs at ECTC
  • Crime Stoppers, Greenspace, Hardin County Habitat for Humanity, and Helping Hand
  • Hardin County Retarded & Handicapped, and Wesley Hilltop House
  • Lincoln Trail Red Cross,  and Salvation Army
  • Let's Spruce Up, Inc. and Springhaven Domestic Violence
