Water Fountain in Central Park

Members from the Elkhart Community Lions Club and other clubs in the area attended a special dedication ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011.  A water fountain was dedicated to the memory of Luella Karay, a past president of the Elkhart Community Lions club as well as a driving force in many Lions activities in  the District.  She was instrumental in developing the Metro KidSight program that performs visual screenings on preschool age children to detect early vision problems.  She passed away in April 2009.  Central Park is located in downtown Elkhart, Indiana.
