Esparto Lions Club was chartered December 29, 1980 with the help of Sponsor Woodland Reveille Lions Club, both of which are located within District 4-C5.

Esparto is a small rural town located in Yolo County northwest of Sacramento.

Esparto Lions Club serves Madison, Esparto, Capay, Brooks, Guinda and Rumsey.  The latter four towns make up the historic Capay Valley.
