50 YEARS OF SERVICE

In 2011 the Exeter Lions Club will celebrate its 50th Aniversary. 50 years of service to the community of Exeter.

This will be a notable milestone for Lionism in the southwest of England the Exeter Lions wishes to celbrate in a postive way. The main focus will be the 50th CHarter Anniversary Dinner on October 22nd 2011 at the." ReFresh Dinning Room"  Exeter University

A small committee named 'The Golden Committee' has been formed to plan and raise funds to celebrate this event. The Lord Lieutenant of Devon,the Queen's representative in Devon, has accepted the invitation to the Charter Dinner and the date noted by the Lord Mayor of Exeter's office.

Over 29 'Brainstorming' ideas have been suggested for the Golden Year, One of which is making contact with past members, Presidents and anyone with memories or connections with Lions and Exeter.
