50 YEARS OF SERVICE

In 2011 the Exeter Lions Club celebrated 50 years of service to the community of Exeter.

This was a notable milestone for Lionism in the southwest of England. The main focus was the 50th Charter Anniversary Dinner on October 22nd 2011 at the" Refresh Dinning Room"  Exeter University.  The Lord Lieutenant of Devon,the Queen's representative in Devon, accepted the invitation to the Charter Dinner

A small committee named 'The Golden Committee' was formed to plan and raise funds to celebrate this event.

Over 29 'Brainstorming' ideas have been suggested for the Golden Year, One of which is making contact with past members, Presidents and anyone with memories or connections with Lions and Exeter.
