At this year’s Club Handover night cheques to the President’s chosen charities where distributed to Children's Hospice SW £3115. and ELF £3000. plus £1500.to Callington Lions Club for help with transport costs taking Aid to Ukraine, a total of £7615.!

Since then, the Club has donated over £2000. to LION’S national and international projects and taken two local families on a week’s holiday to the Newquay Lions Club holiday project at Hendra Holiday Park at a cost of over £1000. Both families enjoyed their week, and one little girl was thrilled that she could go swimming every day.

Most of the Clubs funds have come from monies received from the Exeter Chief’s Foundation in return for the marshalling of off-site car parks at the Rugby Clubs home matches. The Exeter Club has been involved with the Chiefs since their move in 2006 to the new ground at Sandy Park. This year a fantastic £74,468. has been split between 29 different charities who have raised funds through match day half time bucket collections and manning of car parks.

This year the Club received £6542. And this was split with Crediton Club who had helped with manpower over the season due to our small numbers.
