Current Fairhaven Lions Projects

• Renovations to Fairhaven Park have taken most of our time.  The shelter underwent major construction in the kitchen area. New counters, electrical, appliances, and doorways were installed. Future plans for the park include new bathroom facility and a handicapped accessable playground facility.

• Our annual 13 Gun Raffle was held in September. It was a great turn out for the event.  A meat raffle was also held during the event.

• Old Settlers Days,always held the last Saturday in June is an event for the whole family.  The Fairhaven Lions sponsors a food court in the park shelter, kiddie tractor pull, polish horseshoe tournament and carnival games for the kids.  The Old Settler Queen coronation takes place over the dinner hour, then a live band  follows.  The Lions serve food, beer and pop.
