We welcome you to our site. Lions Club of Falcon Inc is the newest lions club in the Mandurah area. Late in 2007 a member of the Harvey Club found that living in Mandurah and travelling to Lions in Harvey was too long. This then was the commencement of Lions Club of Falcon Inc.
From this simple idea a new club, currently consisting of 31 members, went to charter on 31 May 2008. We meet at the Waratah Church the first and third Tuesdays of every month. The first Tuesday meeting is our ‘supper’ meeting and we often have a guest speaker. Our supper is bring and share and proves very successful, especially from a social interaction aspect. Our third Tuesday meeting is our ‘dinner or meal’ meeting. This is a catered sit down meal, with full formal meeting held. Obviously there are costs involved, and our Membership Director would be happy to explain further.
The Lions Club of Falcon Inc, considers itself the “Island Club” due to the fact that we are surrounded by water, and can be accessed via either the Dawesville Cut Bridge or Estuary Bridge. We have become involved with schools in our area, presenting end of year awards and hope to further enhance this relationship. We attempt to address most members’ needs by having a variety of social gatherings, along with our formal Lions meetings. We strongly associate with our local community, along with established Lion projects.
If you are looking at doing something for the community, the Lions Club of Falcon Inc, would like to issue you an invitation to come and visit us. All new inquires can be directed to our email address: lionsfalcon@hotmail.com Membership of Lions is by sponsor, and our members are always looking for a new member to sponsor and support.
