Would you like to join the Ferris, TX Lion's Club? We'd love to have you join us, we're always on the hunt for new Ferris Lion's Club Members.
You are invited to be our guest and attend one of our meetings so you can see first hand what we do. We serve and give back to our local community thru our programs and events.
We meet on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 4:30 pm, at the The Ferris Junior High School, 1002 E 8th Street in Ferris, TX 75125.
We open our meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance, after that we enjoy a covered dish dinner, after everyone is finished eating we call the meeting to order and conduct club business, during the business meeting we discuss ways we can help our community and make plans on achieving those goals. Sometimes we have a guest speaker that attends our meeting and gives a very informative presentation that affects events and happenings in and around our local community. Then we close in prayer.
We volunteer and sponsor local events like National Night Out, Brick Fest, Pioneer Day, Vision Programs, Vision Bus Screenings, and we provide eye exams, eye glasses and scholarships locally when funds are available.

After you visit a few meetings you can decide if you'd like to become a member, once you submit your application the club votes on accepting your membership. Once you join you have 3 months to decide if it's a right fot for you, after the 3 month waiting period, your then entered into the system to become a member. Membership dues are $8.00 per month.
