The Flower Mound Family Lions Club was charterd on January 26, 2011. While we are a new club, we are not new to Lions. Many of our members came from other Lions Clubs around the DFW area to form The Flower Mound Family Lions Club. While we support all Lions projects, the one we hold dear to our heart is the Julien C. Hyer International Youth Exchange Program as many of our members are host families to these wonderful groups of teens. We are a part of District 2E-2 and involved in District wide contests such as The Outstanding Youth Contest, Drug Awareness Speech Contest, Diabetic Essay Contest in which multiple scholarships are awarded. We are also involved in International Youth Camps, where we have the opportunity to send a local youth overseas to attend a camp of their choice.
