PURPOSE

The Forest Lake Lions are a local community service organization whose members are part of the International Association of Lions Clubs, with a worldwide membership of over 1.35 million members in over 45,000 clubs scattered throughout 206 countries and geographical regions. We, the Lions, enjoy working to better the lives and well being of all people in the community through the education and research programs the Lions sponsor for sight, hearing, diabetes and drug awareness.

MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is to serve the needs of our community through a wide range of volunteer projects. 100% of all proceeds raised are given back to the community.

VISION STATEMENT

We strive to improve the lives of individual community members and assist local, national and international charitable organizations by providing funds, in-kind donations and volunteers for programs and services with an eye toward Sight, Health and Education.

 COMMUNITY ACTION and SUPPORT

The Forest Lake Lions support, and have several members trained along with local residents, in a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). This team is always looking for new, interested citizens to participate in a 20 hour training course to prepare for rapid response if called upon in an emergency. Contact our website for further information.
