Fortuna Lions Community Service Project - the Annual Easter Egg was held Saturday, April 23 at 10 AM sharp in Rohner Park. There were hundreds of children, divided into three age groups: toddler to 4 yrs., 5-7 yrs., and 8-11 yrs. At the sound of the horn they scrambled across the grass looking for the 90 dozen dyed hard-boiled eggs and hundreds of plastic eggs which could be redeemed for prizes. Downtown merchants also contributed 61 Easter baskets as prizes, which winners had to retrieve at the individual business. It was another successful Lions Club event.
