The Freeport Lions Club is the home of Past Vice District Governor Dudley Bent.

On 15th June 1966 District Governor Alan Cross presented the International Association of Lion Clubs Charter to President Rodger Young creating the birth of the Lions club of Freeport, Bahamas.Since that time the club has tirelessly been performing its moral, physical and financial commitments to it community.

The Lions Club of Freeport is an organization whose membership consists of both men and women who have dedicated themselves unselfishly and tirelessly to the needs of those less fortunate persons in the communities of the northern Bahamas in particular and indeed the entire Bahamas as whole.

The organization's objective is to encourage civic minded individuals to serve their community without personal or financial reward while giving much of themselves in fulfilling its main objective " To Serve" the community with on going sight conservation projects.
