A Grant was written by Lion Jim Pappenhagen. The LCI Grant enabled the Lions Culb to purchase four Audiometers to give them to the FV High School, Banks Road Elementary School, FV Elementary School & Lincoln Heights Magnet Elementary. Impacting 45,000 students.

Fuquay Varina Lions Club is delighted to donate funds to Fuquay Varina Elementary School for purchasing a new Pure Tone audiometry. Pictured from left to right are Ms. Debbie Wallace, M.Ed., CCC-SLP, Principal Heather Johnson, Fuquay Varina Lions Club members Wayne Loots, President, Jim Pappenhagen, Treasurer, and Michael Simmons, Membership Chair.

Audiometry tests can detect whether one has sensorineural hearing loss or conductive hearing loss. Debbie Wallace says, “this equipment will assure good hearing monitoring for the students.”
