On 12- 08- 2017 LC of Giridih Jagriti celebrated International youth day among the children of Subhas Public School and aware them about the need to protect our environment by organising Essay Competition on "Save Environment".

On the Eve of Independence day L C of Giridih Jagriti distributed School bag, stationary items,snacks and sweets among the poor and needy children of the SANKALP FOUNDATION (NGO ) at Birsa Chowk, Sirsia, Giridih on Monday 14th August 2017 at 04.30 pm.

Lions Club of Giridih Jagriti celebrated Independence day with Lions club of Giridih Town and Leo Club of Giridih at Navjeevan Nursing Home, Giridih.

To stop pollution and protect our environment an Enviornmental Awareness program was organised by Lions Club of Giridih Jagriti on 09/09/2017. On this day they marched a rally and distributed jute bags under “No Plastic Campaign”.

On 16/09/2017 Ln Anita Gupta (president), Ln Meena Gupta (Chairmen Sight first ) and Ln Madhu Prakash (PRO) attended The 1st Zone Meeting, Region V Zone B at Lions Seva Sadan Isri Dumri, Organised by Lion S.K. Jaiswal, Zone Chairperson.

In accordance with the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Giridih Municipal Corporation organised a program. Lions club of Giridih, Jagriti actively took part in the program and distributed jute bags in order to create awareness on "Say No To Plastic".
