• The Club's Annual Barbecue and Raffle is held each September with a catered  BBQ dinner and live entertainment.  Recent BBQ's have been held on the Island at the beautiful 100+ acre Dover Lake in Manakin-Sabot.  This is the club's primary fundraiser for the year.   

   

Goochland County Lions Club supports the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life in Goochland with a team participating in the annual Relay.

Goochland Lions Club has a Lion Santa program each Christmas where Santa and club members deliver food and gifts to local families in need. 

Lions White Cane Days are in the spring each year, where members collect donations from the community for sight related projects in the county and around the world.

The Goochland County Lions Club collects used eyeglasses which are sent to our recycling center in Roanoke where they are processed for distribution Internationally, helping many disadvantaged people around the world.

Adopt A Highway - Our club maintains litter pickup along a 3 mile strech of State Route 6 from Maidens intersection to State Farm. Club members clean up this adopted roadway several times a year.
