"Lions Den" - A sixth grade student form Arkansas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired, Brandon Sims, told his Aunt (Lion Wanda) and Uncle (Lion John Barnett) that needed an inside playroom for rainy days and after school.  Brandon came to the Gravel Ridge Lions meeting on September 14, 2010 and asked the club to help with the game room.  He asked for two Wii's, Wii games, a talking globe, a stage for puppet and magic shows, exercise equipment, computer aid such as jaws, enlarger and other visual aids.

The Gravel Ridge Lions Club accepted the challenge to sponsor a service project of refurbishing and replacing the playroom.  We partnered with Lions Clubs in our State and received a matching grant for Lions Clubs International Foundation.  The playroom serves children throughout Arkansas.
