Meetings

Emerson Bair-Joined lions in 1980, Twice President and Secretary with the Westminster Club, Zone Chair, Diabetes Awareness Chairman 22W.  Transferred to form Greater Carroll Lions Club in February 2005.  Charter Member, Secretary and President of Greater Carroll Lions Club.  Served on various committees in both clubs. 

Jeremy Bair-A charter member of the Greater Carroll Lions Club, Jeremy served as President in 2009-2010.  He has been in education for since 2001 and travels extensively.  He is a 3rd Generation Lion following his father Emerson Bair and his grandfather Scott S. Bair, the charter president of the Westminster Lions Club who was the first American to receive Lifetime Membership to Lions Club International.

 Michael Bair-resides in Carroll County with his wife and two children. Right of Way Agent for the Maryland Department of Transportation. He is a Past President and Charter Member. He is active in Guitar/Music, the outdoors and enjoys spending time with family and friends

 Wes Buckman- a Lion since November 1980, he served as Westminster Lions Club President in 1989-1990, and then as Charter President of Greater Carroll Lions Club in 2005-2006.  He worked in the BGE Electrical Engineering Division for 37 years. Under his president, Wes developed the Father – Son dinner and helped to advance the Fall Harvest Fundraiser

 Ted Burnett is retired from Carroll County Public Schools after 32 years of service,. He has been a Lions Club  member since 1975. He has served as President and Board of Directors of the Westminster Lions Club.  He is a charter member, has served as Treasurer and is First Vice President of the Greater Carroll Lions Club.

Dean Minnich- first invited into the Westminster Lions Club in 1964; after service in the Vietnam War, he eventually returned to Lions in the late 1970s, and is a charter member of the Greater Carroll Lions. He is a retired newspaper editor who continues writing local columns, poetry, and short stories.
