The Greece Ridge Lions continuously look for opportunities to serve the community.  

Some of the activities we have undertaken:

Donated funds to the Greece Public Library for the purcahse of large print and audio book for the visually imparied.

Participate annually in the Spruce Up Greece Campaign.

Collect used perscriptions eyeglasses and non perscription sunglasses for redistribution to third world countries.  Collection boxes are located at

Donated toys to the less fortunate at Christmas.

Participated in the Salvation Army's Red Kettle campaign by ringing the bell during the holiday season.

Deliver food baskets to those in need at Thanksgiving

Provide glasses to those unable to provide for themselves.

Provide Vision screening for pre school children.

Supplied radios to the blind in our community as part of WXXI's Reachout Radio program.  wxxi.org/reachout/index.html

Sponsor and participate in Halloween parties for senior citizens living in adult homes.

 Donate to ABVI/Goodwill (Association of Blind and Visually Imparied)  We purchased a Money reader and Ticket scanner for the Goodwill store in Stoneridge Plaza.  This allows visually impared individuals to work at the store.  www.abvi-goodwill.org/
